Hi, I'm Alex Radu, a high school student from Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey with a passion for building real software. From full-stack web apps to robotics competition tools, I enjoy creating things that work, ship, and make a difference. Outside of coding I design and 3D print custom parts and compete on my school's debate team.

Getting started with robotics and web development.

  • Joined Pascack Pi-oneers FIRST Robotics Team 1676 as InfoTech Member & Web Developer
  • Built and maintained real-time scouting applications used during competitions
  • Contributed to a community website for a local food pantry
  • Started competitive debate at Pascack Hills High School

2025

Shipping products and leading teams.

  • Became Apps Lead for FRC Team 1676, managing 5 developers building internal and public-facing apps
  • Built and launched Quizzr.org, a quiz platform with 131 organic users, Semifinalist at Student HackPad 2025
  • Built and launched Karaokly (karaokly.com), a karaoke app with concurrent session management
  • Developed FRC Tree, a networking platform for FIRST Robotics teams using TypeScript and SQL
  • Worked as Summer Technology Assistant at Pascack Valley Regional HSD, imaged and deployed 800+ computers
